When I hear birdsong, I know they are praising their creator. Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord! So much of what I call “unnecessary beauty” out there for us to enjoy. For free. 🙏

Delayed my breakfast by 14 minutes to watch this straight away, and even though I'm desperate for some jam and toast I'm glad I did because this was so beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us, and well done on all the awards.

Did I cry my eyes out ? I sure did. But Lira cracked me up. Beautiful documentary, very much loved what all four women shared with us and I could relate to what every one of them was saying.

Well done !!

I am at a cafe having my morning coffee in a suburb just outside Sydney. It’s the last week of spring and the temperature is going to hit 34°! What a deeply moving short film, you had me tearing up for the whole 14minutes! Cinematically shot with beautiful messaging. As for Lira, how cool was she.

That was beautiful thanks. As I was watching I realised I don't think of myself as a birdwatcher or a birder but that's what I do ALL the time, every minute I'm out, in fact it's what motivates me to get out. I AM an absolute birdwatcher :)

Beautiful film, as someone who grew up in the countryside and now lives in a city, connecting more people with nature is something I think about everyday

What a beautiful and inspiring documentary. I love birds, and your movie explains so well what I love about them too: they're just these beautiful, underrated creatures living their whole lives among us, and most people don't even notice them, but when you pay attention, even for just one second, you can see what wonderful and rich lives they live.

I feel so privileged watching this, too; I live in an area surrounded by native bush filled with native birds. I sometimes think it's them allowing us to live here, not the other way around.

I totally get that feeling. I spent a year in Australia and I always felt like a guest in the ecosystem there. I’m glad you enjoyed the film.

This was beautiful yet sad. The way this woman got sad while talking and almost teared up...it is how I feel almost once a day as I pass all the bulldozers making Pennsylvania more of a concrete jungle everyday. I help rescue wild waterfowl. Birds as well especially during nesting time (cats getting into nests...fledglings falling out of nests at major chain stores in their lawn&garden centers). I see how humans are 99% the cause of the birds decline. Even when the cats get into a nest...that is the owners fault. The cat didn't let itself out the locked door. I believe we need more education in schools from kindergarten up till graduation to teach the kids why they should care about mother nature and her children. I actually have had so so many kids mock me while im trying to rescue a duck for example. Some of these older teens actually were seen trying to hook the ducks on purpose. Kids are very impressionable. If they are allowed to fall in love with nature...they will. My God daughter is proof of that ❤️.
